The occupation commits a massacre in northern Gaza and targets the "safe zone" in Rafah

The Israeli army committed a massacre against civilians in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday and targeted again what it calls the "safe zone" that includes displaced people in Rafah in the south.

In the latest developments, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 6 people were killed as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted a gathering of Palestinians in the vicinity of Sheikh Zayed Towers in the northern Gaza Strip.

At dawn today, Dr. Nihad Al-Madhoun was killed and others from his family were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted their home in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City
